| Artist Statement |
| For more than three decades I've
been
perfecting my art by pursuing a vision of excellence with a focus on
details, a passion for research, and a belief in hands-on
education.
I'm an artist that creates art for art's sake, and not to push an
agenda. My subject matter usually consists of things that
interest me
or I find challenging to depict. A piece of art may be subtle and
thought-provoking, but the best do not require explanation or
subtitles. I prefer to create these kinds of images, Art that
you
can understand. Animals have always been an interest of mine ever since I grew up on a small farm. They continue to fascinate me to this day, birds more than any other. Hopefully my art has the same effect on the viewer that the subject matter has had on me. Brian
