Reproduction Parts for Mercury Outboard Engines
The Quincy down / drive shaft housing for
early Mercury 6 cylinders.
The patterns and core box were obtained from
Harry Brinkman with the understanding that they would be readily available
for other pseudo Mark75H and other restorations and build ups. I'm learning
a great deal as I work through the race equipment as I'm mostly a stock
collector '39-'62 and am just beginning to venture into the racing realm.
Any advice, addition history and applications of this unit would be greatly
welcomed. Here are some pictures of the first part. The cost per casting
unmachined is $495. I have ten in stock for now. This housing mates with
the Mercury Speedmaster I (I believe) and Speedmaster II. There may be others??
Again these are from the original Quincy patterns. Thanks
