I found four of these dimes in one small front yard at an old farm (1908d, 1853, 1884, 1890). If only all the yards were so productive. I dug the 1890 first and thought it was clad because it was in the grass roots at about an inch down. I was poking at it with my digger when I noticed it was silver. Then something like, IT IS A FREEKING SEATED DIME, went through my head. I also found two Indian head cents from that yard.

That way-worn 1873 dime is my first ever seated coin. What a thrill! Man, they sure carried this one around for a long time before it got lost.
