"Black Hawk Slept Here" is supposed to be the title of a book, someday.   Maybe after I retire from my regular job.   In the meantime I'm getting in some good bike rides -- going to the places in the story and getting to know the countryside, the historical characters, and the people who are there now.   These maps may give a few hints as to what it's about.
