Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Judge was appointed in March of 1995 by

Governor John Engler. He ran for election to continue in his position in November of 1996 and was elected to serve through December 31, 1998. In November 1998 he ran unopposed and was elected to serve through December 31, 2004.

He has accomplished a number of achievements in his life including:

Successful runner, including all-American status in the NAIA and NJCAA;
Martindale Hubell Rating of AV as a practicing lawyer in seventh year of practice;
Member of National Honor Society.
