Hello, just a bit of insight into the world of Don Johnson.....
I was born in Glen Rock, New Jersey on June 21, 1925 and graduated from
Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood,
New Jersey in 1943. I attended Syracuse
University from 1947-1949 where I met, Marilyn E. Whyland, a very talented artist, from Arlington, New Jersey. We were married on June 24, 1950 and have three children, Don, Linda, Wendy and three energetic grandchildren, Rob, Chelsea and Zachary.
After enlisting in the US Army while still in high school, I entered the
service for World War II in July of 1943. Was discharged in 1946 and was
a 2nd Lt. in the US Army Reserve. Changing my commission to the US Air Force
Reserve led me to active duty for the Korean War from 1950-1953. I remained
as a Captain in the US Air Force Reserve until 1955.
In September of 1953, I was hired by The Upjohn Company (now Pfizer) and after 34 years, retired in 1987. The most recent positions prior to retirement were as National Sales Manager, Consumer Products, and Director, National Accounts, Pharmaceutical Marketing.
