The Knights of Columbus is the “Largest Catholic Fraternal Organization in the world”, dedicated to doing charitable works, in service to the Church and the Community, you’ll gain great satisfaction in helping others as a member.  There is great personal satisfaction, I myself especially enjoy the more informal events that we have and the chance to meet new people and associate with friends.

Come and help us in our charitable efforts for the “needy” or unassisted while sharing the fellowship and benefits that come with the K of C membership. You will feel a self satisfaction in helping those that are in our need.

The Algonac Knights of Columbus Council exists to do charitable works. We volunteer to do things to make money to support these charitable works. Yes, we have a hall, rent the facility, have meetings (which can be boring at times) but the real work, the real challenge is, volunteering on the projects we have to support the goal. The Knights of Columbus pride themselves on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. We also take time out for ourselves and have dinners, dances and cookouts. To clarify, these events come out of our own pockets, not from charitable donations!

The Knights of Algonac continue to support both the Catholic Community and the Algonac/Clay area community through their contributions to the needy. Some of the many charities that are assisted is the Boysville Program in Michigan, Clay Township Fire Department, Algonac Schools, the Right to Life Campaign, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, St. Catherine’s parish and Vocations.
