Configuring Mac OS 10.4 Mail

Follow the instructions below to configure your email.  If you need assistance, please call Customer Service at 888.64.ISERV or email info@iserv.net.
  • Open 'Mail'
  • From the 'Mail' menu, Select 'Preferences...'
  • Click on the 'Accounts' tab
  • Click on the '+' (under the 'Accounts' field) This will create an empty account
  • Enter a 'Description' for the account (This can be anything)
  • In the 'Email Address' field, Enter your email address (format "username@iserv.net")
  • In the 'Full Name' field, Enter your name (format "John Doe")
  • In the 'Incoming Mail Server' field, Enter "mail.iserv.net"
  • In the 'User Name' field, Enter your username (format "username" not "username@iserv.net")
  • In the 'Password' field, Enter your case-sensitive password 
  • Click 'Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)'
  • Click 'Add server'
  • In the 'Outgoing Mail Server' field, Enter "mail.iserv.net"
  • Click 'Ok'
  • Close 'Mail Preferences'
  • Save the changes
