Configuring Internet Explorer 6.x (PC)

Follow the instructions below to configure your browser.  If you need assistance, please call Customer Service at 888.64.ISERV or email info@iserv.net.

  • Double-click the 'My Computer' icon (on your desktop)
  • Double-click the 'Control Panel' icon
  • Double-click the 'Internet Options' icon
  • Select the 'General' tab
  • In the 'Address' box ('Home Page' area), Enter "http://www.iserv.net/"
  • Select the 'Privacy' tab (Iserv recommends that you set the Privacy level to 'Medium')
  • Select the 'Connections' tab (Your properly configured Iserv Internet connection should be set as the default)
  • Verify that the 'Dial whenever a network connection is not present' option is checked
  • Select the 'Programs' tab (Iserv recommends Outlook Express for email and newsgroups)
  • Select the 'Advanced' tab
  • Click 'Restore Defaults' (lower right) This will set all of the recommended Iserv settings
  • Click 'OK' (bottom of the screen) when you are finished
