Configuring a Dialup Connection - Windows 95*

Follow the instructions below to manually set up your Iserv Internet connection.  If you need assistance, please call Customer Service at 888.64.ISERV or email info@iserv.net.
  • Double-click on the 'My Computer' icon (on your desktop)
  • Double-click on the 'Dial-up Networking' icon
  • Double-click on the 'Make New Connection' icon
  • In the 'Connection Name' field, enter "Iserv"
  • Select the modem that you will be using to connect to the Internet, Click 'Next'
  • Enter the appropriate dialup number for your local dialing area.  (To find an Iserv access number that is local to you, go to our Dialup Access Numbers)
  • Click 'Finish'
  • Drag the 'Iserv' icon in the 'Dial-up Networking' folder, to your desktop
  • Click 'Yes' to create a shortcut
  • Double-click on the 'Iserv' icon on your desktop to get connected to the Internet
  • Enter your Iserv username (format "username", not "username@iserv.net")
  • Enter your case-sensitive Iserv password, Click 'Connect'
  • To set up your email, go to the appropriate 'Configuring Email' page on the Iserv web site.  Follow the instructions to set up your Iserv e-mail.
